Telco Global Access IP of Virginia has chosen the DIGITALK Multiservice Platform to launch prepaid services in North and Central America.

Running on DIGITALK SIP Application Server in a pure IP environment, Global Access IP has initially launched a Prepaid Calling Cards and Prepaid Residential service and is looking to rapidly expand service offerings to include further residential prepaid services.

Speed to market was a critical factor in the selection process, however, Hassan Kassem of Global Access IP said, ”Functionally, we were looking for billing flexibility, stability and scalability with excellent support services, and the capability to host wholesale and partitioning services. DIGITALK is the only option to deliver all of this without the need to integrate other systems.”
