Cordia Announces SIP Trunking in the U.S.
If you see a 10-foot tall elephant eating peanuts on the streets of Miami Beach, you’re not hallucinating. The metaphor on those rolling billboards shows how Cordia Communications can provide CLEC and VoIP services for peanuts, according to the company. With its network of worldwide nodes and offices, Cordia is launching SIP Trunking services targeting U.S.-based multinationals. This launch follows on the heels of the company’s SIP Trunking solutions campaigns in Brazil, India, and the Philippines. Cordia’s network provides digital VoIP services, domestically and internationally, as “the world’s local phone company.” Cordia offers two options – SIP Circuit or SIP Trunking. Both are designed for the customer to receive a traditional T-1 with 24 channels, with an option to utilize all channels or partition the use of the circuit into 25 percent increments. Minutes are included and range from 3,000 – 8,000 minutes depending on the portion of the channel purchased by the customer. SIP Trunking is $10 for the first two channels and $10 for each additional channel. Volume discounts are offered on per-minute usage, however, typical rates are $.014 per minute to anywhere in the contiguous United States and Canada, with a 6/6 rating increment. Cordia’s SIP service also is offered with a 30-day, money-back guarantee.
